Charging at home

Charging your electric vehicle at home is simple and convenient. Learn how you can charge while you recharge.

Level 1 Charger

Plug into a standard household outlet.

Level 1 is the easiest way to charge your EV. Using a standard three-pronged 120V household outlet, this option does not require installing any additional equipment. Note: This method is not recommended for regular use due to slow charging speeds using an optional Level 1 cable.

Level 2 Charger

Supplying more power for quicker charge times.

For faster charging at home, Level 2 is a safe and cost-effective option to charge your vehicle through a dedicated circuit. We recommend Qmerit to help arrange for a licensed electrician to install and hard-wire the Chargepoint Home Flex wallbox or the FLO Home X5 wallbox. Chargepoint and FLO each offer safe and convenient Level 2 home charging solutions with a full suite of connected features. Level 2 can fully replenish the EQS battery from 10% to 100% in under 12 hours — ideal for an overnight recharge.Disclaimer[1] Installing a Level 2 wallbox at your home is simple with our partnership with Qmerit. License, insurance, registration, the specific duty on new tires (in Quebec), and applicable sales taxes are extra. Selling price does not include any products, services or optional add-ons not listed that may be available to you through your selected Mercedes-Benz dealer, nor does it include lien registration or third-party agent fees of up to $130 if leased or financed (which fees may vary by region, lease/finance, and contract term). The actual vehicle purchase price is subject to change and may vary based on dealer and/or customer location, inventory levels, vehicle features and available discounts and rebates. Dealer may sell for less.
