The Power Suit Project
A She’s Mercedes initiative.
Confidence is designed to be shared.
Introducing the She’s Mercedes Power Suit Project: an exciting collaboration between Mercedes-Benz Canada and internationally renowned Canadian fashion label Pink Tartan. Featuring three high-profile Canadian women—Mitsou Gélinas, Melissa Grelo, and Stacey McKenzie—the initiative explores and reflects different interpretations of what constitutes a “power suit,” resulting in three distinct garments. The Power Suit Project explores how every woman expresses her own power differently, while celebrating how personal style can amplify the confidence that shines from within.
The Women

Melissa Grelo
“I know who I am today. But I also know who I want to be tomorrow. That’s who I dress for.”
Melissa Grelo is a co-host on CTV’s The Social and is one of Canada’s most well known television personalities. Prior to discovering her passion for broadcasting, she developed a love of horses while growing up on her parents’ farm and established a career as a teacher. Now, she is eager to share the message that it is never too late for women to change careers mid-path in order to follow their dreams. She is an advocate for several charities and is passionate about female empowerment.

Mitsou Gélinas
“Style has always been a good partner. It’s there to give you that ‘oomph’, the confidence.”
Mitsou Gélinas has done it all as a singer, actress, entrepreneur, TV and radio host, fashion magazine author, and spokesperson for the Quebec Breast Cancer Foundation. Born into a creative family, she began working as an artist at the age of nine and she has not stopped creating since. Her drive to make her mark on the world and willingness to share personal stories make Mitsou an inspiration for women everywhere.

Stacey McKenzie
“Style shouldn’t help you fit in. It should help you make room for you and what you have to offer.”
Jamaican-born Canadian runway model, modelling coach, model mentor, and TV personality Stacey McKenzie has earned accolades—and a devoted following—around the globe. Throughout her modelling career, she has appeared in the world’s most iconic fashion magazines as well as on the runways of the industry’s most beloved designers. Stacey also founded The Walk Camp, a mentorship program for aspiring models, and more recently appeared as a judge on Canada’s Drag Race.
