Dynamic and powerful, this new GT brings the innovative AMG.EA high-performance electric platform into the powertrain — the first of its kind in a full-sized SUV. With an innovative high-voltage battery and three axial flux motors on the GT 55 and 63 models, this Formula 1-inspired architecture propels progressive driving to new heights. Its high-power charging technology means fast recharging under optional conditions, so you can get back on the road — proving electric performance need not compromise in power, range and charging speed.
But can all-electric deliver all adrenaline? You bet it can. The AMGFORCE Sport+ driving program on the GT 55 and 63 models invigorates thrill seekers with the roaring sounds of an AMG V8 engine. Meticulously documenting engine sounds from vehicles like the GT R, this SUV can adapt in real time to reproduce sounds, along with seat shakers and AMG-specific graphics, that reflect the driver’s style, acceleration and gear changes.
Agility and stability reign supreme here with up to 6-degrees of active rear axle steering as standard with maximum flexibility in torque distribution. Touring comfort and precision handling brings an unrivaled sporty driving experience thanks to the newly developed AMG ACTIVE RIDE CONTROL+.
