4MATIC all-wheel drive

In any season, on any road, 4MATIC all-wheel drive adds to your confidence and control. Always engaged and optimizing torque to every wheel, 4MATIC integrates with ESP, our standard Electronic Stability Program, for maximum effectiveness in corners and slippery conditions.

System cannot overcome the laws of physics, nor is it a substitute for being attentive to driving, traffic and conditions. Please always wear your seat belt. Performance is limited by available traction, which snow, ice and other conditions can affect. Always drive carefully, consistent with conditions. Best performance in snow is obtained with winter tires.
Active Distance Assist DISTRONIC

A Mercedes-Benz innovation, Active Distance Assist DISTRONIC cruise control uses radar-based technology to adapt your set speed in response to the flow of traffic ahead. If traffic slows down, it can reduce your speed automatically until your path clears. If the vehicle ahead slows to a stop, it can brake to a full halt. When traffic moves, you can resume with just a tap of the accelerator or cruise control button, or it can resume automatically if the stop is under 60 seconds.

Active Distance Assist DISTRONIC is not a substitute for active driving involvement. It does not adapt cruising speed in response to stationary objects, nor does it predict the curvature and lane layout of the road ahead or the movement of vehicles ahead. It is the driver's responsibility at all times to be attentive to posted speed limits, traffic and road conditions, and to provide the steering, braking and other driving inputs necessary to retain control of the vehicle. Drivers are cautioned not to wait for the system's alerts before braking, as that may not afford sufficient time and distance to brake safely. Braking effectiveness also depends on proper brake maintenance, and tire and road conditions. See Operator's Manual for system operating speeds and additional information and warnings.
MBUX profiles, routines and templates

Third-generation MBUX offers even greater personalization, starting with multiple user profiles you can easily set up in the car or from your phone. New routines can help automate tasks and vehicle settings you regularly use at a given time or location, and can be created by the user, from a selection of templates, or in the future using suggestions from the system's ever-evolving Artificial Intelligence.

Mercedes-Benz Digital Extras, including in-vehicle, over-the-air and app-based services and updates, operate only where cellular and/or GPS signals are available, which are provided by third parties and not within the control of Mercedes-Benz Canada Inc. Some Digital Extras may also require a separate data connection. A complimentary trial period of some services may be included at no additional charge with new-vehicle sales and leases at an authorized Mercedes-Benz dealer. A personal Mercedes me ID, agreement to the Terms of Use for Mercedes-Benz Digital Extras, and pairing of the vehicle and user account are required to activate features in the vehicle. Biometric features may be enabled at user’s discretion for additional security, and may be deactivated at any time. Biometric data may be deleted via the vehicle’s user profile settings. Upon expiration of the initial term, most features can be renewed for a fee, provided they are still offered for the vehicle. Features may be introduced, updated or discontinued at varying dates. New or updated features may require a vehicle software update. Offers are not transferable to subsequent owners or lessees. Some services are only available on select vehicles. Authentication may be required to use certain services. Some services may be limited or restricted in some areas. Driver is responsible for complying with traffic and other laws. See your dealer or https://www.mercedes-benz.ca/en/mercedes-benz-app for details.
Driver camera

A driver-facing camera helps MBUX adapt the vehicle's systems and settings to the driver in a variety of ways. It can pre-position the driver seat and mirrors based on your stature. And its eye-tracking ability allows it to help detect driver drowsiness and distraction, teaming with the ATTENTION ASSIST system as well as adjusting the displays and interior lighting to help the driver stay focused on driving.

Driving while drowsy or distracted is dangerous and must be avoided. ATTENTION ASSIST may be insufficient to alert a fatigued or distracted driver of lane drift and cannot be relied on to avoid an accident or serious injury.
MBUX augmented reality for navigation

MBUX Navigation can help make it easier to make turns and find your exact destination upon arrival. Using live imagery from a forward-facing camera on the central display, the Mercedes-Benz User Experience (MBUX) can superimpose useful information such as street names, house numbers and guiding arrows on a real-time view of the approaching environment.

While the navigation system provides directional assistance, the driver must remain focused on safe driving behaviour, including paying attention to traffic and street signs. Maps do not cover all areas or all routes within an area, may require periodic updating, and may not reflect recent or temporary changes to roadways.
