The Mercedes-AMG E 53 4MATIC+ Coupe is here
A bold advance for the performance coupe.
The love of driving comes from within.
The pounding heart of the E 53 Coupe is a new electrified 3.0-liter engine that produces 429 hp and 384 lb-ft of torque. With a 48-volt electrical system augmenting the car’s mechanics, an additional 21 hp and 184 lb-ft of torque are available through its EQ Boost starter-alternator. In short, you get an engine that delivers bracing power while maintaining superb efficiency and exquisite driving dynamics.
The expressive design of the coupe wraps that new engine in dynamic form:
A twin-blade radiator grille in silver chrome, a front bumper in A-wing design, AMG side sill panels, high-gloss chrome on the round exhaust tailpipe — these and other design elements signal the arrival of a new breed of vehicle. Inside, the E 53 boasts a wide selection of interior colors and materials to complement its AMG-specific upholstery, AMG Performance steering wheel and widescreen cockpit display.
Alongside the Mercedes-AMG E 53 Cabriolet and the Mercedes-AMG CLS 53, the E 53 Coupe celebrated its premiere at the North American International Auto Show in Detroit. Expect it at dealerships later this year.
