A Mercedes-AMG engine only starts with the state of the art. From there, everything from fuel pressure to exhaust routing is developed to quicken, heighten and intensify its response, and yours. Developed for AMG's racecars, patented NANOSLIDE cylinder walls cut friction, raising endurance and power.
Class-leading horsepower, crafted by hand
Its 375 hp is the most of any 4-cylinder in production. Its turbo boost maxes at an incredible 26.1 psi. And yet some of its numbers are impressively tiny, like its 2.0L size. Its 4.4-second 0-100 time. And the number of hands that build each one: a single pair. 
Supernatural torque, with natural talent
AMG Performance 4MATIC teams with 3-stage ESP and torque-vectoring ESP Dynamic Cornering Assist to turn 350 lb-ft of torque into 365 days of intelligently, instantly proportioned traction, whether powering out of a corner or clinging to the pavement at launch. 
Seven speeds, shifted faster than humanly possible
The AMG SPEEDSHIFT DCT 7-speed's racing-derived dual-clutch design can shift with lightning speed, to keep the power on when you need it most. The driver-selectable modes of AMG DYNAMIC SELECT alter the shift points, throttle mapping, chassis feel and more. A RACE START function is standard, too.
Agility and grip, from the wheel in your hands to the tires on the road
AMG-developed hardware and AMG-calibrated geometry, rates and ratios add up to agility, precision and crisp communication between the GLA and you, the driver. Supersized 19-inch or optional 20-inch AMG wheels make the most of the nimble AMG Sport Suspension.
AMG Driver's and Track Packages: Multiple upgrades, exponential benefits
Two performance packages take the GLA 45 to the next level: The AMG Driver's Package adds AMG RIDE CONTROL with 2-stage damping, 20-inch wheels and a multimode exhaust. A limited-slip front differential and higher top speed highlight the AMG Track Package. 
An interior engineered to inspire
Deeply bolstered seats and a thick flat-bottom steering wheel make sharp curves and long trips equally joyous. The E-SELECT console shifter is a functional scuplture of aluminum and leather. And even racier options include AMG Performance seats and a steering wheel wrapped in grippy DINAMICA microsuede.
A body sculpted to show some muscle
While the body structure of the GLA 45 is engineered to resist flex, its styling can't resist flexing its muscles. Larger air intakes and air-guiding "flics" define the new front air dam. The standard rear spoiler and 19-inch AMG® wheels are redesigned. Or go for one of several new 20-inch wheel options.
