Hybrid Integrated Starter-Generator
<p>Electrifying the inline-4 gasoline engine is an innovative Integrated Starter-Generator. It teams with a 48-volt lithium-ion battery to supply power for formerly belt-driven components like the water pump and air-conditioning compressor, reducing weight and enhancing underhood packaging. In addition, the electric assist can generate additional, gas-free power and torque (up to 20 hp and 148 lb-ft) for immediate response.</p>
Vehicle Exit Warning
<p>After parking, an enhancement to Blind Spot Assist can also alert the driver or passengers to vehicles, cyclists or pedestrians that could be at risk if the door is opened. Acoustic warnings are accompanied by flashing of the ambient lighting within the door to warn occupants of a potential collision. The feature remains active for up to three minutes after the ignition is switched off.</p>
Heated front seats
<p>Electrically heated front seats quickly take the chill out of even the coldest day. Three levels of warming automatically step down after several minutes to the lowest setting.</p>
64-colour LED ambient lighting
<p>A network of LEDs can create not just a soothing ambience in the cabin, but one you can alter to suit your mood, or even create one with 64 individually selectable colours.</p>
MBUX profiles, routines and templates
<p>Third-generation MBUX offers even greater personalization, starting with multiple user profiles you can easily set up in the car or from your phone. Routines can help automate tasks and vehicle settings you regularly use at a given time or location, and can be created by the user, from a selection of templates, or in the future using suggestions from the system's ever-evolving Artificial Intelligence.</p>
