Handcrafted AMG 4.0L V8 biturbo engine
<p>The AMG-developed biturbo V8 is engineered for a modern era of performance, generating 469 hp from just 4.0 litres. Its 516-lb-ft torque peak arrives at just 2,250 rpm, and persists to 4,500 rpm, to rocket you to 100 km/h in 3.9 seconds on the way to a 295-km/h top track speed. Enhancements include active crankcase ventilation, repositioned intercoolers and higher boost. Yet even with its advanced technologies, each engine is still hand-built and signed by its own craftsman.</p>
AMG Performance 4MATIC+ all-wheel drive
<p>A specially engineered version of 4MATIC can instantly vary the front-to-rear torque distribution in precise response to driving conditions and driver inputs. It can even send up to 100% to the rear wheels. An electromechanical coupling between the front and rear axles is controlled based on an elaborate matrix of driving mode, lateral and longitudinal acceleration, and available grip to optimize handling and acceleration right up to the physical limits, on virtually any road or track surface.</p>
AMG RIDE CONTROL
<p>The AMG RIDE CONTROL Sport Suspension features electronically controlled 3-stage adaptive damping. It instantly varies the suspension characteristics to the driving situation, to help reduce body roll, pitch and dive while maximizing agility and tire contact. Three modes are selectable via AMG DYNAMIC SELECT or a separate pushbutton control: Comfort, Sport and Sport+ adapt the damping rates at progressively lower thresholds of wheel motion, lateral g-forces and driving speed.</p>

<p>One of the most respected makers of handcrafted high-end home audio, Germany's Burmester® has developed a surround-sound system that's specifically tailored to the AMG GT. With 10 high-quality speakers plus a subwoofer and a 650-watt, 12-channel digital amplifier, the system can fill the cabin with pure surround sound while seamlessly compensating for ambient noise. Exquisitely detailed aluminum speaker grilles are as rewarding to the eyes as the system's output is to the most discerning ears.</p>
