Off-road driving should only be attempted by drivers with the necessary skill, experience and understanding of the vehicle's limits. Read Operator's Manual before driving off-road.

Transparent hood display is composed from vehicle's exterior cameras, and is available only in specific drive modes at certain speeds. It is not a substitute for actively checking around the vehicle for any obstacles, people or animals in the vehicle's path or surroundings. Driver is responsible for safely operating vehicle in accordance with terrain, surface and driving conditions. Images displayed may be limited by camera field of view, weather, lighting conditions and the presence of dirt, ice or snow on the camera. See Operator's Manual for other important information and warnings.

Active Distance Assist DISTRONIC is not a substitute for active driving involvement. It does not adapt cruising speed in response to stationary objects, nor does it predict the curvature and lane layout of the road ahead or the movement of vehicles ahead. It is the driver's responsibility at all times to be attentive to posted speed limits, traffic and road conditions, and to provide the steering, braking and other driving inputs necessary to retain control of the vehicle. Drivers are cautioned not to wait for the system's alerts before braking, as that may not afford sufficient time and distance to brake safely. Braking effectiveness also depends on proper brake maintenance, and tire and road conditions. See Operator's Manual for system operating speeds and additional information and warnings.

Active Steering Assist requires driver to hold steering wheel and be ready to steer vehicle at any time. It may not recognize lane markings, road features, and/or other vehicles in some lighting, weather and road conditions. It is the driver's responsibility at all times to be attentive to traffic and road conditions, and to provide the steering, braking and other driving inputs necessary to retain control of the vehicle.
 

Blind Spot Assist is a warning system only. It may not be sufficient to avoid all accidents involving vehicles in your blind spot and does not estimate the speed of approaching vehicles. It should not be used as a substitute for driver awareness and checking of surrounding traffic conditions. Exit Warning feature can operate for a brief period after vehicle is switched off. It cannot warn occupants of stationary objects, and may not alert occupants to cyclists, pedestrians, or vehicles approaching at certain speeds or from certain angles. Rear Cross-Traffic Alert is not a substitute for actively checking around the vehicle for any obstacles or people. It may not detect certain objects based on their size, path, proximity or speed and angle of approach, or due to sensor obstruction, and does not control steering angle. Mercedes-Benz Digital Extras, including in-vehicle, over-the-air and app-based services and updates, operate only where cellular and/or GPS signals are available, which are provided by third parties and not within the control of Mercedes-Benz Canada Inc. Some Digital Extras may also require a separate data connection. A complimentary trial period of some services may be included at no additional charge with new-vehicle sales and leases at an authorized Mercedes-Benz dealer. A personal Mercedes me ID, agreement to the Terms of Use for Mercedes-Benz Digital Extras, and pairing of the vehicle and user account are required to activate features in the vehicle. Biometric features may be enabled at user’s discretion for additional security, and may be deactivated at any time. Biometric data may be deleted via the vehicle’s user profile settings. Upon expiration of the initial term, most features can be renewed for a fee, provided they are still offered for the vehicle. Features may be introduced, updated or discontinued at varying dates. New or updated features may require a vehicle software update. Offers are not transferable to subsequent owners or lessees. Some services are only available on select vehicles. Authentication may be required to use certain services. Some services may be limited or restricted in some areas. The Mercedes-Benz app is compatible with Apple iPhone®, Apple Watch®, and Android-based phones. Not all phone operating systems are supported, and software updates may be required.
