Handcrafted AMG 4.0L V8 biturbo engine with mild hybrid drive
<p>The acclaimed AMG biturbo V8 propels performance into a new era again. Generating 577 hp and 627 lb-ft of torque from a modest 4.0 liters, it can rush to 100 in 4.4 seconds and deliver swift response at any speed. Its "hot inside V" turbo location cuts lag and losses. An electric Integrated Starter-Generator can efficiently add gas-free torque. AMG Cylinder Management can seamlessly deactivate four cylinders. Yet even with its advancements, each V8 is still hand-built and signed by its own craftsman.</p>
Three lockable differentials
<p>As you make your way off-road, three sequentially lockable differentials offer increasingly masterful capability. Each differential can be locked in sequence (centre, rear, then front) via a set of buttons on the dash, to help maintain the ideal balance of torque and traction for the situation.</p>
20-inch AMG 5-twin-spoke wheels
<p>Ruggedly designed 20-inch AMG wheels feature angular, chiseled pairs of spokes with machine-polished surfaces set against sculpted dark grey inlays. Summer performance tires are sized 275/50R20.</p>
Mercedes-Benz User Experience (MBUX)
<p>The Mercedes-Benz User Experience is a breakthrough in automobile cockpit control that keeps advancing. MBUX integrates digital displays including a touchscreen, touch-sensitive controls, and an intuitive, intelligent voice control system that can respond to your natural voice, learn your habits, and grow smarter over time. Added personalization lets you set up seven user profiles of settings in the car or from your phone, and can pre-position the driver seat and mirrors based on your stature.</p>
OFFROAD COCKPIT
<p>An overview of information relevant to off-road driving can be displayed on the dual digital displays, along with buttons in the centre of the dash to access specific off-roading features and settings. Information content such as compass, elevation, steering angle, torque output, ambient temperature and tire pressure can be displayed in a variety of tiles, and customized by swiping or using on-screen arrows.</p>
