Initiating a Charging Session
To get started, confirm in the Mercedes-Benz app that you have a Mercedes-Benz-approved adapter: Tap “Charging Status & Settings” and when prompted, toggle “NACS DC Adapter” on to indicate that you have the adapter. NACS-enabled fast charging stations will shortly appear on your vehicle navigation display and app and will be included when routing your journeyDisclaimer[1].
What is the North American Charging Standard (NACS)?
The North American Charging System (NACS) is a charging connector that enables access to DC fast charging systems like Tesla’s Supercharger network.
By the end of 2025 or early 2026, select Mercedes-Benz electric vehicle models will come equipped with the NACS charging port[SS1] , and gradually all EVs will be designed to be compatible with this charging option.

*Requires purchase of a Mercedes-Benz adapter, software update via your preferred Mercedes-Benz dealer, vehicle pairing, activation, and payment of fee. MB.CHARGE is provided in cooperation with the third-party service provider, ChargePoint. The service requires an active Mercedes me ID and ChargePoint account, including acceptance of the Terms of Use and Privacy Policy for each company and consent to linking of accounts. This contract can be made with a mobile device in the Mercedes App or within the Mercedes me Digital Extras Portal. The mobile device needs to have network coverage of a mobile network provider. A MBUX multimedia system with 26 cm (10.25-inch) touchscreen and with navigation is required for the service to be used within the vehicle. Availability and functionality varies by model, year, selected options, and hardware (including Mercedes-Benz User Experience multimedia system). Cellular connectivity and network coverage required.
